Your First Appointment
Unless otherwise arranged, your first appointment is for a consultation. After examination, the nature and extent of the problem is determined and treatment options are discussed. The appointment usually takes between 40-70 minutes, depending upon the reason for your dentist's referral.
- New patient forms will be sent for you to complete at home and bring with you. If you have not been able to complete these forms, please arrive a few minutes early to complete the paperwork before seeing Dr. Abramson.
- Please remember to bring any X-rays you may have been given, along with any dental insurance information.
- If you normally take antibiotic pre-medication for cleanings, please premedicate for your consultation.
- Payment for the consultation appointment is due in full at that appointment, even if you have insurance coverage. The fee for the consultation will be included with any insurance filing that is done.
Appointments made at our periodontic office are reserved exclusively for you. If you need to change your appointment, we would appreciate the courtesy of being informed at least three full business days in advance. This allows another patient to take your reserved time.
